Welcome to King’s County Barbell Club! We are an Olympic Weightlifting program focused on developing athletes of all skill levels. Here at KCBC you will learn a multitude of skills with and without a barbell. These skills include, and are not limited to strength, agility, speed, and flexibility. While our main focus will always be centered around the classic movements (Snatch and Clean & Jerk), all skills learned in the program can transfer to many other areas of strength and conditioning. Whether you are a crossfitter, a powerlifter, or an already established weightlifter, wherever you are in your training, we have a place for you here at KCBC.
Our program is run by Head Coach James Wright Jr, a certified USAW coach with a strong background in strength and conditioning. Training is held every Tuesday and Thursday from 7-9 PM.
